This week students attempted to write 5 different poem styles in 5 days. Poems were shared to student blogs and then we chose our favourite poem to share on FlipGrid. Grace, Jacob and Heath were brave enough to share their poems at assembly. We then used a self assessment “BINGO!” sheet to gauge whether students had used enough poetry elements in their work and were able to go away and apply the missing elements to another poem type.
